Well, we have arrived at the end of our summer and into a new season of grad. school. What else it will hold, we don't know exactly. My mom drove out with us last Thursday and we moved into our apartment on Friday. Thankfully we had some people here help unload (since many friends helped us get our stuff into the truck back home).
Evee got sick while we were in MI last week, so this past week (besides packing up and moving into the truck and then into the apartment) was filled with throwing up and the rest of us getting a bit sick as well...fun, fun. Needless to say, we were thankful to have my mom around to help! She'll be leaving on Thursday and I'm wondering if I will feel how I did when she went home after helping when Evee was born. Knowing that we'll be fine, but knowing that we're more alone than we're used to.
I still want to post pictures of last week in MI. So, I'll do that soon... We are doing well - thanks to those who have been praying for us! We appreciate it.

In Indiana
We are actually up in Michigan at the moment, hanging out with my parents. But, I'll put pictures of that in the next post. Sidenote: If you want pictures from "family vacation" with my family, you can check them out at my mom's blog (a few post down on 7.28.08).
The last two weeks we've had a wonderful and busy time in Indiana with friends and family (my sister is still living there). Clint worked during the days and then we caught up with so many friends at night. It is hard to leave all that we've been so blessed with. We leave this Thursday to head out to NJ.
We didn't take many pictures from the last two weeks, but here are some we have.
Evee and her friend Maddie (we stayed with our friend's Brad & Amanda for the two weeks). They loved playing together (most of the time) and we all had a lot of fun.
Evee walked around for a couple of days with these rings (from a toy) on her arms. She would sometimes walk around with her arms up so that they wouldn't fall off.
Evee LOVES water. She had so much fun in the pool. One day she came to me with her bathing suit so I'd put it on, the next day with a life jacket, and the next with her hooded beach towel. They all went on and stayed on for awhile - all over her regular clothes!

Recap of the last month (or more)
So, thanks for your patience with posts.
We are now in Indiana again...staying with good friends and hanging out with good friends. It's nice to be back, even though its only for a couple weeks.
Here's a recap on the last month...
We really appreciate all the thoughts and prayers over this past experience. We would be so happy for your continued prayers for us! There is still a lot more transition to go and a lot more unknowns to unfold! If you'd like more specifics to pray about, don't hesitate to e-mail :)!

Here's a recap on the last month...
- Africa was great! We had such a great time watching God work in the lives of the students are our team. It was amazing how each heard from God and how He spoke so clearly in their lives. It was a great team to lead. We'll have to post more pictures. A quick highlight of our time in Africa was working with Christ Victory International Mission. CVIM is an organization that is doing great work in Liberia. We worked with their orphanage in Liberia - helping with washing clothes, cooking, playing with the kids, etc. It was so neat to come along side of the men and women who give so much every day to the children at the orphanage.
- After Africa, we were in Colorado for another 2 weeks. Debriefing and still in "class mode" with the students. We also joined the high school teams that were going on through KBM for part of the first week after we got back.
- When "The Experience" ended, we flew to San Diego to spend time with my sister, Joni, and her husband, Mike. We also went up to Pasadena for a few days to visit my brother, Josh, and his wife, Kari before heading back to San Diego to meet up with my whole family for "family vacation" across the border to Mexico.
- We had a great time with my family - relaxing, playing games, going to the beach...
- After family vacation we flew back to Denver to debrief with staff there about "The Experience" and then drove back through Kansas City (seeing our friends there again) and then on to Indy.
