So, I thought I would post here to say that babygetgreen is where I'm posting much about life. There are trickles of Evee, although it is not fully about Evee.
Maybe at some point I'll choose to come back here where it is almost soley devoted to our wonderful Evee, but between babygetgreen & traderjoesblog, I just don't want to make any promises.
This is mostly just to say that babygetgreen has evolved into being more about the life we desire to live (living in simplicity and peace) than anything else. If that is what you came here to see, you can now see that there :).
Ok...that's it. Thanks!

News
Just thought I'd do a quick update on life
Love you all!
- Clint has finished up the semester and is now finishing up his short term (May class). He will be finished early next week.
- We sold our house!!! Praise the Lord! So, we close on May 29th.
- We head out to Indiana next Friday and are spending the weekend there. We will also spend the next weekend there to close on our house.
- We move to Michigan for the summer right after that first weekend in IN. We'll be living with my parents while Clint is doing an internship with the West MI district of the Wesleyan Church. We are really looking forward to being with my parents and having somewhat of a slower schedule!
Love you all!

"Big Girl Bed"
The video (last thing below) basically explains the excitement that's been going on around here. Evee is loving her little converted toddler bed. We find her just lying down and reading in it. She loves jumping on it. And, the bonus, is that there has continued to be no night time drama. The bedtime routine has not changed at all! Neither has her naps. We are very happy about that. If anything, it's easier because she's so pumped to get into bed on her own.
So, here are some random photos - being silly and being dramatic and then I'm posting a video (this one is recent, just this week) of her showing off her bed.
Enjoy...

Evee's 2!!!
Hey friends and family!
Yesterday little Evee turned 2. It's hard to believe that she's been with us (outside the womb) for 2 years now! Pretty amazing how fast it goes.
She is talking so much and is a joy!
I'll post some pictures here. We had a birthday party for her. Just invited friends over - the kids played outside and we all just hung out. Very laid back with brownies & ice cream, popcorn, fruit and lemonade. It was fun. Of course, I forgot to take pictures of that, but we got pictures of the morning when we did gifts. My friend took pictures at the party, so I'll try to get some of those from her.
I made her an apron, which I'm very proud of! We got her a craft box and she's already been cutting, gluing and coloring. We told people to not bring gifts or to bring stuff that they already had and wanted to "pass on" - so we got some great recycled stuff (books, bubbles, and homemade cards!).
Oh, and I did some video, but realized (just now) that when I turn the camera, you have to watch it side on. So I'll post an old video at the end. It was from when Mike, Joni, and Grandma were here (so a couple of months ago...she's talking more now), but you can still get an idea of her little voice.
She is wearing an outfit my parents sent her, eating a sucker (also from grandma and papa) and wearing the apron I made. She's dancing to some music...

Taking the camera
I'm realizing that I had posts saved, but hadn't actually posted them...
I'll start posting those :) - just a few and a bit old, but better than nothing I guess. The pictures below are from back in December (early December).
Also, my brother Josh and sister-in-law Kari just had their little one Saturday evening - little Stella. She was 9 lbs. 5 ounces and 22 inches - so, I guess not SO little, but still :). Very excited to have a new baby on the Jackson side! Congrats to them!

The Wedding
So, we've gone and come back to Australia with no updates :) - sorry about that! I did very broad updates (kind of) at my other blog. Anyway, here are a few pictures from the wedding. I hope to get some more pictures of our time in Australia from Clint's mom at some point. Also, we didn't bring our camera, so these are from Clint's brother, Jeff, and possibly our sister-in-law Esther. Hopefully I can get some pictures of the family and of Clint's parents!
Gramps - this is Lynn's dad and Clint and I just love this picture of him! He stayed with us in Sydney for about 4 days or so. Evee loved Gramps and would reach up for his hand frequently or asked to be picked up. At one point, I looked pack in the car and Evee was fast asleep and was holding Gramps' hand. He said that she had reached over for him to take her hand...so sweet.
Dean & Rachel - It was great meeting and getting to know Rach and to spend time with her and Dean. She was a beautiful bride.
Evee playing in the sand while pictures were being taken. Her granny (and granda) got her this dress for the wedding. It was so cute on her. Thank you to them!
Clint's brother, Jeff, and Sharee with their 4 month old (now) Hayden. It was so great to meet him and to see them as parents! Anytime Evee saw Jeff or Sharee without Hayden, she would hold her hands up in question and ask, "Where's the baby?"
