Pictures from our day...
Right now I'm feeling super tired and think I'm going to skip out on Bible Study because I'm not feeling the best (had a run in with the dog I walk yesterday :)) and Evee did not take a nap today. BUT, all-in-all it was a good day. I wish everyone could see the faces that come from Evee each day and the randomness that occurs. Here are a few pictures from today (and yesterday).
Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! Love you!!!

She's really into picking these things off the ground...I finally created a place for her to be able to put them.

Then today we started with keys in hand, hat on and continuous "bye"s. She didn't go out in her pj's though.

We went through Evee's stuff. Anyway, she had fun with her pacifiers (not that she remembers them) and we organized everything by size to pass on to others!

First 3 pictures are from yesterday - And, yes, we did go to the grocery store in this outfit :). I figure, if she wants to wear it she should be able to and I should be confident enough to let her...

As you can see, she was very helpful.
She did help go to the store - don't worry, there's no water in there. It's actually pretty impressive, holding the water bottle, her pacifier and the cone things she picks off the ground on the way to the car.

Accomplishments
Evee has started doing a few new things this week that feel pretty major. She has told me a few times that she's pooed - I'm thrilled, of course :). I went to the library this week to pick up a parenting book my dad was telling me about (oddly, our first one ever) and there was a potty training book next to it. I grabbed that one too. It was written in 1974, written by psychologist, and the title is "Toilet Training In Less Than A Day". Intrigued? I'm about 50 pages in, and as crazy as it sounds, I think we'll give it a try in a month or two. I'll let you know if/how it works.
As for other accomplishments - Evee's also saying a ton of new words and repeating a lot. She's just doing more and more. She's learning to climb more. Like once, when I was babysitting, she climbed a ladder (on a playground) that was about 7 or 8 feet! I was behind her, but she definitley had the coordination down. I was impressed...
Here's the progression of another accomplishment. This is the chair that sits by Clint's desk (look familiar Josh & Kar?). She's always needed help getting into it, but Clint was encouraging her to do it on her own. Anyway, now she has no problems. The second to the last picture she is clapping intensely for herself (you can't quite see her hands, but check out that facial expression!). She likes to sit and look through a calendar her granny made for us with pictures of the Ussher family.

Recent Pictures
Ok - here are some picture from the last week. I hope to get some more from Amanda of their time here, but here is the opening moments of Evee and Maddie seeing each other :).

I offered to watch a friend's little one so that she and her husband could go out on her due date (She was due this past Thursday). Evee and Ellie had fun marching on the bed.

Fall on the east coast
Below are some pictures of 2 weekends ago when Evee and I went to a farm with some friends from here. It was a gorgeous day and we had fun being outside. I will also post pictures some time this week of this past weekend when the Callen's (Brad, Amanda, and Maddie) came to visit us. We had such a great time!!! It was really fun having them here and such a blessing.
Other news...Clint is studying a ton and this week is fairly heavy as far as the work load goes. Please keep him in your prayers as he balances everything.
I also want to say (since I haven't yet on here) congrats to Clint's brother Jeff and our sister-in-law Sharee who had their little guy, Hayden, earlier this month! We got to see him on skype the other day and they are all doing so well! :) We can't wait to see him in person! Lots of new babies in our families since my brother Josh and Kari are pregnant too (just found out today that they are having a girl!). :)
